Last year for the first time in centuries, Orisha Aje was officially and publicly venerated across Yorubaland. What this means for them and all the Aje is that it no longer has to be as hush-hush, but that those once called “witches” despite their benevolence, are now officially among traditional healers, mystics, and esoterics. Since then, it’s like the floodgates have opened in blessings. Despite the bad situations across the globe, practitioners of Isese and other ATR’s are thriving as best as possible because we can now openly own our methods and give praise where it is due.
